This project bag is perfect for storing your knitting projects or taking them with you wherever you go. The bag has a comfortable drawstring closure and the size is big enough to carry around even your bigger projects like sweaters. There’s a big exterior pocket and on the inside there’s a small zippered pocket, a pocket for needles and an elasticated pocket.
Recommended Fabrics: You can use many types of medium weight fabrics for this bag. The end results will vary depending on the weight of the fabric you use so you can experiment with different combinations. When using canvas fabrics you’ll have a sturdier bag and when using lighter weight fabrics like patchwork cotton you’ll have a less structured bag. You can also use interfacing for more structure.
Finished measurements: 37 cm x 30 cm (14½” x 12") wide, 15 cm (6") deep, and 30 cm (12”) long (with the extension the full length is 41 cm (16”). The handles are 30 cm (12”) long and 3 cm (1”) wide.
