The bodice is fully lined with enclosed seams. Choose a cute crop top or skirted option. The crop with plain straps is naturally reversible. The 1/2 circle skirt comes in 4 lengths: peplum, mini, dress, or a midi with ruffle. Plus optional inseam pockets. The back skirt is finished with a facing and enclosed elastic. Skill level:
- •Confident beginner- The elastic casing, ruffle strap, maxi ruffle option, and construction of the enclosed seams will be the most tricky steps for a true beginner.
Suggested Fabrics:
- •Woven apparel fabrics with drape. You may use fabrics with less drape such as 100% cotton and it will give a more vintage stiff feel.
- •Rayon challis, voile, lawn, batiste, silk crepe, rayon crepe, chiffon, chambray, linen, etc. Fabrics such as quilting cotton will work as well, but will be more stiff and stick out.
Notions:
- •1/2″ or 1″ elastic for back skirt casing.
- •Optional- fusible interfacing.
