I'm Megan, the owner and head designer of Studio MME.
I believe embroidery should be fun, not frustrating, which is why you won’t find any French knots or fancy stitches here. I believe there is beauty in simplicity. Both in design and execution, my aim is to create a project that can be sewn in a day instead of a week.
I create my embroidery designs because I want to live in a world where we come home from work and decompress on the couch with a fun embroidery project. A world where homes are decorated by things we made and proudly display. A world where we give the gift of craft - the gift of quiet time.
I refuse to believe that our skills as embroiderers are only measured in the difficulty of our stitches or the perfection of the backs of our projects. As modern stitchers, we are no longer confined by the hoop or day of the week designs. Instead, we can embrace the fact that we are all a little weird at heart.
