I went looking for a simple project that didn't require a lot of strength or brainpower to occupy myself with while I'm at home recovering from surgery and remembered about this cute wrist pincushion pattern that I had pinned ages before. It turned out to be a perfect project. Easy, quick and satisfying. I'm now thinking of making a couple more and giving them to my sewing pals as gifts. But this first one is for me :)
I have accumulated lots of pretty quilting cotton fat quarters over the years and it's nice to finally be able to turn them into actual things instead of leaving them to sit prettily on the shelf.
Two of the fabrics used are from the "Minimalista" collection by Art Gallery.
The cuff closes with velcro.
P.S. Recovery is going very well. I'm convinced crafting helps with that :)
