A sweater-dress for my daughter. She had a long sweater that she liked to wear with leggings but she has grown out of, so I thought I'd have a go at making one.

The bottom ribbing was bought as a piece from Stoff & Stil, there's enough left for another garment. The ladybird patch was also from Stoff & Still.

Modifications
  • Added 0.5cm to width of collar ribbing
  • Added pockets that I drafted using the pocket piece in the pattern, but made them 1cm wider, curved the lower edge and added ribbing to the top.
  • The overall sleeve length was kept as per pattern, but I added 5cm deep ribbed cuffs and shortened the arm pieces accordingly. The rib pieces that make up the cuff were cut to 17x12cm (folded in half)
  • Added the ribbing piece to the lower edge, increasing the overall length.
