It is a versatile PDF pattern that ranges from sizes XS to 5X and includes three lengths: a top, a mini skirt, and a midi skirt. The pattern comes with digital stencils inspired by the contemporary Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama to create your own hand painted versions using the Artist Made Patterns ebook “Print, Paint + Sew”, as well as a Hacking Handbook. The Artists House Dress was designed for advanced beginners but even the most seasoned sewists will find it a fun sew, especially using the Hacking Handbook to create your own unique versions!
Artist Made Patterns was started by Taryn Singleton, an artist and teacher working in Oklahoma with an MFA in Painting and Print Making. She teaches fiber arts classes at a local arts center and exhibits her paintings, prints, and embroideries regionally.
