The Belle skirt sewing pattern for woven fabric is a three tiered skirt fitted from the waist and with increasing flair towards the hem. The bottom tier is created with circular bands creating a lovely full sweep. The skirt is designed with high-low hemline. The front waistband is contoured and the back elasticized. The fit and look of the skirt is flowy, bohemian and romantic.
The skirt is designed with two length options. The waistband has belt loops and the look is completed by a long belt.SKILL LEVEL 2/4
This is a pretty straight forward project, but there is a lot of fabric in the skirt, and the curved hemline is a challenge.
