The Clair skirt + bag, apron or hat is zero waste. The skirt uses woven fabric and has a back zip, waistband and one side pocket. The offcuts are transformed into either a waist apron, a bag with zip, pockets and handles, or a tie-on visor hat which fits any size head.
The skirt can be made in three lengths: short (shown in blue lightweight denim), mid length (shown in orange cotton drill and tartan) and long (shown in natural linen).
Suitable fabrics include denim, linen, cotton drill and wool gabardine in plains, checks and stripes. Stiff fabrics will yield a sculptural shaped skirt and soft fabrics will make a flowing skirt. For an evening skirt, suitable fabrics include taffeta, dupioni silk, brocade and satin.
Sizes: this skirt is sized according to your waist measurement and can be sewn to fit any size.
