Communities of Pride New York City is part of a pattern series that combines two symbols of community – a pride flag and a recognizable geographic feature of a city, state, or region.

The pattern includes a brief history of the pride flag in the design, comprehensive instructions, and printable raw-edge appliqué templates of the city’s rivers to create finished quilts in 5 different sizes: Mini (8½" x 11"), Small (13" x 16½"), Medium (17" x 22"), Large (21½" x 27½"), and Largest (25½" x 33").

Also included are specifications for fabrics to match the pride flag in the cover quilt, and two recommendations for water and binding fabrics in blue and gray colorways.

Please refer to the images for additional information (including required skills, tools, materials, and yardage).
