I'm crushing on geometric designs at the moment so naturally there needs to be a geometric sewing machine! The pattern makes a 16" block. Using different shades of one colour really makes this block quite striking. Due to the nature of the pattern, it does have a lot of pieces involved but tends to look more complicated than what it actually is. Naturally there are no y-seams in this (or in any of my patterns. y-seams are yuck). Paper piecing instructions are not included. Each section is clearly labelled and seam allowance has been added for each section. All you need to do is print it out and away you go :) I suggest that you print to "Actual size".
