From Vivian Shao Chen:

The Georgia Trousers are pleated trousers featuring deep front pleats, slant pockets, and a zipper fly front. The fit is a high-waist, slightly dropped crotch, loose legs, and a slightly cropped ankle length. The silhouette is relaxed yet tailored, with legs tapering towards the ankle.

There are two views included in this pattern. View A is a pair of full length pants. View B is a pair of shorts.

Recommended Fabrics: The Georgia Trousers pattern is designed for woven fabrics. It works best with midweight fabrics (6 to 8 oz/yd) or heavyweight fabrics (8 to 10 oz/yd) that have good drape, such as wool suiting, linen, or Tencel. For a more casual look, you can also use canvas or denim, which will hold the structured lines of the pleats.

For fabrics with patterning such as stripes or a tartan, keep in mind that extra yardage may be needed for pattern matching.
