From 627handworks:

I was inspired to make this design after seeing several Art Deco style tiles on Instagram.

This pattern includes 3 sizes:

2", 3" and 4" hexagons (the side wall meaurements).

The finished hexies are approximately 4", 7" and 8".

For the basic layout with the fan shapes all in a row, this is a great beginner pattern due to the way it can be pieced. There is an explanation on how to do this.

If you would like to rotate the fan shapes in different directions you will need to know how to sew Y seams. There are several YouTube tutorials on how to do this.

This is NOT an English paper piecing pattern, although you could cut out the shapes and turn it into an EPP project. This is Foundation paper piecing, there are tutorials for this on YouTube.
