From Fibr & Cloth Studio:

Iris was designed to be the ultimate wardrobe workhorse pattern. With a zero waste design, this pattern leaves you with a stunning and beautifully finished garment with little to no waste leftover.

The blouse versions feature a collar and cuff combination or a bow and ruffle sleeve combination. A button placket makes the tops simple to take off and also gives a subtle unique detail. The dress versions feature the same details as the blouse versions only the bodice stops at the waist and a gathered skirt with pockets is added.

WHAT MAKES IT UNIQUE?

The classic, timeless features along with the practical wearability make this pattern a go to wardrobe staple that you'll want to wear, pair, and layer. Combine this pattern with a showstopping fabric for a one of a kind statement piece that's sure to turn heads.

DETAILS

View 1 is a tie collar and elastic ruffle sleeve with a variable length according to the wearer.

View 2 is a gathered sleeve with cuff and collar, boasting a classic collared shirt.

Views 3 and 4 feature the same features as views 1 and 2 only with a cropped bodice and gathered skirt and inseam pockets added to create two beautiful dress views.

This pattern is meant to have a boxy fit with generous ease. If you fall between sizes we recommend sizing down if you want a practical fit, or sizing up for a more comfortable and flowy aesthetic.

Iris is a 100% zero-waste sewing pattern meaning no paper is used to assemble it. The pattern pieces are drawn directly onto the fabric using chalk or a marking tool according to the layout in the instructions. This method of patterning benefits the environment and your fabric stash as no paper is used and all of the specific fabric is used up leaving little to no waste. Projector files are included. Those who prefer a paper pattern can draw the pattern onto large format paper and have the pattern to use for future sewing!
