From Sew Me Something:

Julia is from “The Two Gentlemen of Verona” a popular lass who at first seems rather fickle in receiving the attentions from the gentlemen Verona. But this just shows us that love makes us do the strangest things. However, Julia shows her true steadfast nature by following the man she loves, Proteus, to Milan. This is the first play where Shakespeare shows us a cross-dressing heroine and Julia sensibly dresses as a man to find out about the truth about Proteus. But is he really worthy of such steadfast devotion?

This is a wonderfully simple yet adaptable top. With its comfortable box shape, the pattern comes with two variations to the neckline.

  • Version 1 has a plain scooped neckband that provides clean lines
  • Version 2 has a deep cowl that gives a more relaxed finish

Both versions have cleverly integrated pockets which add detail to this top that can be worn for exercise or leisure.
