From Merchant & Mills:

The Saltmarsh pattern makes a simple long-line skirt gently gathered into the waist with a drawstring tie.

You can walk barefoot among the cowslips or saunter across the piazza without a care in the world when you are wearing this garment. It is so long and so relaxed that you may forget you're wearing it at all. It has deep side pockets set into side seams that have been brought round slightly to the front of the skirt, making it both practical and extremely comfortable. We have made it maxi length, but it can be cut to the length you choose. This is a very versatile piece that is destined to become a wardrobe staple. It can be teamed up with the Bantam vest or the Heron wrap top for writing poetry and sketching the trees, or paired with the Haremere jacket for the country show awards.

We have made this skirt in a washed linen as well as a lightweight black denim and it important to choose a fabric that drapes well to keep the soft look of this garment.
