Low/non stretch fabrics are perfect for this style and always remember to take your time and make a mock up in a cheaper fabric before you begin on the final project. This will allow you to make any alterations before you begin ensuring perfect fit.
FABRIC REQUIREMENTS
- 2.5m (2.7 yards) main fabric 120cm (1.3 yards in width minimum) Cottons, silks and non/low stretch fabrics are suitable for this style
- 2m (1.8 yards) lining fabric. (1m or 0.9 yards if you would prefer to have the skirt unlined)
- 30cm (0.32 yards) woven fusible interfacing for the waistband pieces.
- 18cm (7”) invisible zipper in a matching colour
