From Michelle Sews:

A woven tee is one of those underrated pieces in one’s wardrobe that can quickly become a go-to piece. The Tia Blouse can be as noticeable as you choose to make it! Go with View A in a classic neutral shade for an understated basic tee, or make View B in a bold statement fabric for a tee that turns heads!

Tia is a truly versatile woven tee pattern that you can make over and over. This pull-on blouse has side darts for bust shaping and is fastened with a button at a faced centre back opening. View A is a great staple layering piece, whilst View B gives you a bit of drama with its gathered, puff sleeve and elegant cuff.

The skills you will acquire/practise on this project are:

  • Sewing a faced slit opening.
  • Sewing a continuous strip opening for the gathered sleeve.
  • Sewing buttonholes and buttons.
  • Sewing accurate darts.

Recommended Fabrics: Medium weight viscose/rayon, tencel, cupro, linen, chambray and similar blends. The sleeves of view B are well suited to slightly more structured fabrics such as chambray, linen and cotton.

Sizes: UK 6 – 20 with a B cup or UK 16 – 30 with a D cup.
