From The Pattern Line:

This dartless camisole with spaghetti straps is ideal for layering or to be worn on its own. It comes with two necklines to choose from: a minimalistic scoop neck and a generous cowl neck. It’s cut on the bias, has a gently flared hem, and slim fit at the bust. Pair it with a Mercer Bias Skirt for a total look, or wear it under blazers, with denim, dress pants, or skirts.

Play around with different straps widths and contrasting colors to make it your own or make it into a dress. This pattern’s necklines are designed to be interchangeable with Crosby Bias Dress, or try your hand in drafting your own version. All seam allowances are included.

Difficulty: This pattern is geared toward intermediate to experienced sewers, looking to build up their sewing skills. Think of it as a mini-course on various techniques, where I take you into my sewing atelier and show you the high-end finishes you can find in a luxury ready-to-wear garment.

Suggested fabrics: medium weight fabrics with very good drape without stretch, such as crepe, charmeuse, satin, and crepe de chine in silk, viscose/rayon, acetate blends as well as synthetic blends.

Fit & Model Notes: The scoop neck style is intended for a slim fit at the bust, while the cowl neck fits slightly looser. Two samples shown here are made from silk: the first version is a simple unlined silk charmeuse, while the second version is a 3 ply silk crepe de chine lined with silk charmeuse. Models for both versions are 5’10” and are wearing size 4. Size up one size if you prefer a looser fit.
