Wrap skirts have been worn in cultures worldwide since the invention of fabric with large swaths of cloth wrapped around the body and tied or pinned closed. And thanks to their comfort and versatility, wrap skirts have become a staple of modern-day dressing.
The master pattern for the Wrap Skirt can be used to make the Wrap Skirt and all its variations -- short, classic and long. Approximate lengths from waistband to hem:
- Short - 21" (52.5 cm)
- Classic - 26" (65 cm)
- Long - 38" (95 cm)
