From Denyse Schmidt:

Streak of Lightning evokes the vivid power of nature and is designed as a tribute to a quilt made by Emeline Gallup Smith around 1850 in Rhode Island (Down by the Old Mill Stream: Quilts in Rhode Island). I loved the resourceful fabric substitutions she made, and the resulting charm of the unexpected details felt subtle and just right. It’s a perfect example of “making do.”

Originally published in my book Modern Quilts, Traditional Inspiration, this new version includes instructions and measurements for four bed sizes.

Instructions and measurements are included to make any size quilt from crib to king.
