The Poppy has been a symbol of Remembrance since 1918, inspired by the First World War poem “In Flanders Fields”, and is worn each November in honour of those who have lost their lives in combat.

I made this beret a few years ago for Remembrance and finally got around to digitising the pattern and I'm making it available as a special bonus project.

I made my poppies in a single shade of red, but I’ve changed this to three shades in the pattern, to add a bit more dimension to the flowers.
