I’m very pleased to share my latest circle skirt appliqué templates, as a special bonus just for Appliqué Aficionado patrons.

Each detailed snow globe has a different seasonal scene, from ice skaters to deer to a snowy village.

I recommend making the appliqué in felt or other non-fraying fabric (I get the premium wool blend felt from paper-and-string.net)

I used felt for the appliqué, white iridescent fine glitter fabric for the 'snow' in the globe, and gold leatherette fabric for the base. Smaller details such as eyes are embroidered with embroidery cotton, and I used sequins and trims to add dimension. Each snow globe is also outlined in vintage clear iridescent sequins for extra sparkle.

If you want to make a slightly simpler version of this skirt, feel free to skip the snow on the trees, and the tiny “preview” of the next snow globe.

I’ve made two versions of the printable templates - one as outline only (for printing and tracing onto freezer paper), and one full colour vector PDF for use with cutting machines. Download the templates on Patreon.
