The weekender series is inspired by patterns from the 1940s and 50s which include interchangeable button-on accessories - perfect for traveling light or a weekend getaway, as you can create multiple looks with just a few items.

The dart-fitted sun dress bodice features wide-set straps and a subtly scooped front for a flattering square neckline.

The dainty cape sleeve buttons onto the bodice at the front, and is reversible so you get three distinct looks in one dress.

I paired the bodice with a full circle skirt; it will also work well with the Mimosa dress skirts (3/4 circle or gored options) or the Daytripper, Meadowdays or Home Front skirts for more of a 1940s vibe.

I'm thrilled with how this dress set came together, and I'm excited to explore the possibilities further - look out for future button-on options and expansions for the series, including one coming next month!
