Who doesn’t love a cape? Always chic, capes can be dressed up or down, and instantly elevate any outfit.

Named after the Greek god of the west wind, the Zephyr Cape can be made for any season. Make it in terrycloth for a chic vintage style beach cape, or in tweeds and velvets as outerwear for the cooler months.

The cape has a flared shape, button-through front and rounded collar. Armhole slits are formed in the side front seams.

The pattern includes three variations: View 1 (below right) features contrast collar and oversize pockets, while view 2 (below left) has a contrast collar and trim. View 3 is  the same as View 1 but made in all-over fabric.

Made as a beach cape it’s unlined, while the tailored winter version has a free-hanging lining.

To further expand the styling options, look out for the hood expansion, exclusively available to patrons at Aficionado tier.

The pattern comes in modern sizes 4-20 US / 8-24 UK. Get the pattern and instructions on Patreon.
